Three major interstates meet in Atlanta: I-75, I-85 and I-20. The I-285 Perimeter circles Atlanta and links all three along its 62-mile radius. Being in a major city means traffic can sometimes become an issue. The Georgia Navigator is a service of the Georgia Department of Transportation, and provides information on road speeds, traffic congestion and construction. A series of cameras and speed detectors along Atlanta 's highways feed data into this multi-media Web site, allowing Atlantans to actually see what the traffic is going to be like before they even start up their cars.
